Home Buying Different is dedicated to providing quality information for home buyers and home owners in today’s real estate market. Our goal is to educate home buyers and owners about the many aspects involved with buying a home and maintaining it properly.
Quality education is in short supply in today’s real estate industry. We aspire to educate, inform and empower home buyers and owners so they can make educated decisions about the largest investment they will make, their home. We also provide information about green real estate and living green, small steps and small changes are all it takes to start moving towards a more eco-friendly way of living.
About Marcus Fleming
As an Arizona native, I grew up in Gilbert and watched it sprawl out as it became the fastest growing city for awhile. Nothing reminds me of my childhood days more than a cold morning with a slight breeze and the unmistakable smell of cow dairies. I graduated from Mesquite High School a year before they officially had a graduating class, (which made some administrators a little unhappy).
I completed 3 years of accounting school at Arizona State University before realizing my passion involved working with people. After that I quickly moved to Flagstaff to finish an undergraduate degree in Hotel and Restaurant Manager. Still hungry for knowledge I jumped into Northern Arizona University’s master’s program and graduated with my Master’s in Business Administration about 3 months after my 21st birthday.
After school, I felt a need to slow down and balance out life a little. I decided to spend some time studying Yoga and somehow stumbled into teaching for awhile before picking up and moving to New Zealand. If anyone wants an amazing vacation/backpacking place, New Zealand is the place to go. The beauty of the island and the generosity of the kiwi’s is mind opening.
When I moved back from New Zealand I jumped into real estate thanks to an old Starbucks manager’s recommendation. Since then I’ve specialized in working with home buyers and really enjoy working with first time home buyers. I love helping them find their next home and the education that goes with getting them up to date with the often complex and tricky home buying process.
